The creative frontier of London, this is is where I really stand out. I’ve been resident in the best part of London (think Brooklyn or Berlin) since 2009. I’ve lived in the warehouses, catalogued the street art and galleries and participated in the underground culture. I’ve even had a go at some street art myself (spoiler: I’m not Banksy, and it’s harder than you think!).
Wearing my other hat as Hackney Tours, I’ve been exploring the radical history of East London since 2009 and watching the unique Hackney Wick artist colony give way to post-Olympic new neighbourhoods.
My backyard, I’ve written about this endlessly fascinating area for various publications including the local newspaper. There’s a reason this part of town hosted SXSW London (South By South West) and also TEDx, who I ran a tour for about East London changemakers.
